Herbs and herbal products

Tinctures:
Our specialty own tinctures hand-picked herbs free from insects, fungi and all kinds of other contaminants.
When preparing tinctures, freshly harvested herbs are put on a mixture of spring water and alcohol for a while.
When the tincture is at strength, the herbs are drained and pressed.
What remains is a liquid with a high concentration of substances that comes from the herbs.
In addition, we also make highly concentrated tinctures from dried herbs that are purchased by us.

Herbal capsules:
The herbal capsules are filled by Annies Heilzame Herbs themselves, so we do not have to use excipients.
• 295 capsules.
• Content per capsule varies per herb.
• 100% herbal powder, without the addition of excipients.
• Vegetarian capsules (size 0).
• Capsule size size 0 (length 21mm - diameter 7mm).
• Filled with fine powder for good absorption.

Dried Herbs and Herbal Teas:
A varied selection of various types of herbs and herbal teas.

We purchase our dried herbs from reputable companies in the field of herbs, which are suppliers to pharmaceuticals, herbalists and herbal processing companies. All herbs we sell are of pharmaceutical quality, meaning that they meet all European standards and are strictly analyzed by government-approved laboratories.

 We sell herbs in 2 qualities conventional - and extra quality.

Extra Quality : Grown without the use of pesticides and artificial fertilizers.
We may not call these herbs organic.
Organic is a term protected by law and means more than just putting the name organic on it. 

For an organic quality mark, one must be affiliated with an BIO quality mark and also contribute financially to this.
This body carries out checks so that you as a customer are assured that the product is indeed free of foreign substances. The Check is carried out on the  content of substances  and  the way in which  the products are processed so that no contamination can take place with products that are not organic. Furthermore, extensive records must be kept so that everything is traceable.

We are in favor of organic products, but there are only a limited number of herbs with an organic quality mark   available. It is therefore not feasible for us to join a quality mark. Yet we are also convinced that organic should actually be the standard and have therefore decided to include these herbs in our range, but without the BIO quality mark, but under the name Extra Quality.
