When you place an order you can choose to

Create a customer account by checking a box with this text "create a customer account".

By default, this box is not checked and you will be asked to enter a password and a customer account will be created for you.

When you create an account, your details are saved and your address details do not have to be re-entered at the next login.

It is also possible to view previous orders.
